Commission Pet Portrait
Warmest welcome to my unique business of pet portraits made with wool and plenty of love.

For every portrait, I put my heart in sole into creating a fitting tribute for your beloved pet. Here you can immortalise your fur companions with a lasting custom, handmade piece of artwork.
To make the portrait more special and personal, I offer the option of including some of the hair from your pet within the artwork itself.
Each portrait I create takes between 20 – 40 hrs depending on choice of size and detail. Due to the length of time each portrait takes, it will take between 4 – 10 weeks to complete.
I am happy to create a portrait of any pet whether that be a dog, cat, rabbit or hamster.

Step 2:
Choosing a suitable photograph for artist to work from.
The process I use is working from a photograph provided by customer. The picture should be clear and detailed, preferably outdoors with natural lighting. North facing is ideal avoiding harsh direct sunlight. Remember the final portrait will only be as good as the quality and composition of photograph provided.
Step 3:
Choose colour of frame from options below:

White
Black
Medium shade of Grey
Light Oak
Picture frames all have fixtures fitted to hang on wall.

Step 4:
Decide whether you want to include your loved pets own fur or hair in portrait. If you want to do so, a small amount of fur/hair will have to be posted to myself within 10 days of starting portrait.
Step 5:
Email your answers to each step to elaineolbertartist@gmail.com

Please include in email your location so I can work out cost of shipping. This amount will be added to invoice.
I can ship worldwide however, unfortunately not to EU Countries and Northern Ireland as new postal regulations restrict this. Please note customers are responsible for any custom charges that may apply based on your country’s regulations.
My locality is United Kingdom.
Once I receive email, we can begin dialogue.
A deposit of 50% is required before work on the portrait can start. Failure to complete the payment may result in cancellation of your reservation. The balance is due on completion once you are happy with the online preview. Once paid in full including shipping cost, the final portrait will be shipped.

Please be assured the upmost care is taken when packaging your pet portrait for shipping.
